“I been coming here since the tip o covid. They never closed. Last night i had yearn for just Tofu steamed with mushrooms and scallions. 1-not on the menu. 2- they made it for me. 3- The best i ever tasted. It was a little late. I so appreciated it. At this point in time, family friends have eaten most of the menu. The meats dishes are always fresh. The soup always have flavor. The rice is always fresh. The garlic eggplant is a favorite of mine.

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! “A fun place with interesting people watching but I came alone hoping to sit at the bar and was expecting and comfortable with waiting for an hour since it was as a Saturday (it was 6pm but that wasn’t early enough), but they were not sitting solo diners and instead would wait for seats next to each other to open up to sit couples, at one point leaving and open seat available for about 20 minutes.“

By any regular metric, this is a 5/5. Unfortunately, this is New York. More unfortunately, they have a Michelin star. Thus, they must be judged within the strata in which they belong.

The ingredients were FRESH. This is their calling card. The carrots, the squash, the beets, the buckwheat. Kudos to their souring.

The meal is an imbalanced (to me and my table). We were craving protein, and this place highlights the produce. I will say the tastiest dish was a non meat course (mushrooms in a dashi broth)

We were probably the loudest group in the restaurant which we had to quiet ourselves sometimes, but no one ever said nothing or batted an eye and we were treated like gold. “I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than Deser B. And his team made me feel tonight. He was the most authenticly kind and hospitable person I’ve met in New York and needs to be promoted to running all of the stores the way he runs this one.
This was the most authentic Mexican taco in north America. Corn tortillas made in House for each order fresh. I tried all of the protein sources and every single one of them slapped. 20 out of 5 stars. I mean if you don’t go here while you are in town you are crazy.

“My first time at L'industrie did not disappoint. This place had been on my list for a while, but I never bothered trying it because there's always a long line whenever I walk past it.

I showed up on a Saturday, just before opening at 12pm. As usual, there was a queue, but thankfully it moved pretty quickly (about a 20-25 min wait). Once inside, we got the Buratta, Sausage Pesto, and Pepperoni with hot honey. Can't go wrong with any of these, but the Buratta was my favorite (so crunchy and delicious)! We also ordered an ice cream and olive oil cake for dessert. Cannot recommend the olive oil cake enough👌

Luckily, we snagged a spot at the counter and were able to dine in. Had my friend not visited from out of town, I probably wouldn't have waited in line, but I'm glad I did. Totally worth the hype! Friendly staff as well :)“
