“We were visiting family in the surrounding area. It was our first time in the Middletown area and before we went we had the impression of it being kind of a backwoods small town without much going on. Therefore, I have to say that finding this restaurant was a really big surprise. Not only were the food and service great but it was quite authentic and not your typical Americanized Mexican food. I don’t claim to be a Mexican food expert but I have had many business trips to Mexico. The food they served was definitely freshly made. Not overly cheezed up like most other “Mexican” restaurants across the US. The lady was also very friendly.

We ordered all different flavors of their agua fresca in large cup size, and they came in these huge soup takeout containers 😄 and they tasted so good.”

If u want good Chinese food better order from them and they will deliver to you.”

“I want to preface this by saying I love Olive Garden! It’s one of my favorite restaurants, and I have never had a bad experience there until today.

Everything was fine…quite literally. Our waitress Kya was very polite and attentive. She took our order and made sure to update us on when we should expect our salad and appetizer. Our salad, breadsticks and appetizer came out promptly. But my best friend and I quickly noticed that every ten minutes or so our waitress and other waitstaff would come to our table to check on us. It was rather excessive, however, their constant checking in was being fueled by their aggressive manager Miranda.

The way Miranda spoke to her staff was jarring, abrupt, inconsiderate, uncomfortable, and rude. She could be heard from the kitchen making the dining experience unnecessarily awkward. Her staff handled her behavior professionally. My best friend and I asked our waitress if she was alright. Her response was professional and passive.

My sympathy and empathy goes to the staff and I sincerely hope this was a one-off situation. Nobody deserves to be spoken to or treated unjustly. One piece of (unwarranted) advice to Miranda: to be a good leader is to know it’s more effective and impactful to praise your staff in public, and coach your staff in private.”

The ingredients are super fresh, the flavors and combinations are expertly put together, and the owner is a true showman who clearly loves the food and sharing it with the community. The danish dog is my favorite, and my husband loves the Italian sausage with onions. Even the basic chili dog is better than average, and his inventive sauces add so much flavor to the dogs that they can’t be replicated anywhere else. The building is small and it’s crowded and dingy and sometimes smoky inside, but we truly feel that it adds to the charm and makes the experience even more unique. Just go - you’ll be so glad you did!”

“Ordered for pick up & when I got there, 2 customers were waiting at the p/u area and 2 were waiting to order. So not crazy busy for a Sunday morning at 10:30. Customers ordering at the register were waited on promptly. The other couple and I were not even acknowledged. Other to go orders were packed up and while there were 3 people we could tell were working up front only 1 stayed up front to pack another order- while the 3 of us were still standing there waiting for our orders which were sitting on the back counter, ready. Not on the pick up counter. It took me speaking up to even be noticed. Surely enough that was my order that had been sitting there the whole time. And finally the other couple got theirs as well. Please acknowledged when someone is standing there, on either side. Kindly tell the other person you'll be with them shortly. Then everyone feels seen and their food doesn't get cold while hanging out unable to be picked up.

Also, unless you're across the street and able to see the awning, it's not really easy to see your shop. No signage on the front door if coming from New Middletown direction on the same side of the street.”

“Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you want a five star experience with both food and service, go to Pelligrinos!”

There’s a large variety of options, they don’t take very long, and the free samples are always good. They're also very friendly, and never give you an issue. They give you a lot of food which is worth the price, and they let you customize what you want with it without completely overcharging. Whenever we come to the food court, this is our go to spot!”

Looking up food delivery in that area and found Taco Factory...ordered street tacos and they were as good as I've ever had...delivered to me hot, fresh and awsome...the owner took my order and delivered to me. Very nice and personable...when in this area I will be sure to order again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND You give them a try.”

“This is by far my go to when I’m hungry . My family has eaten pizza here , we’ve gotten turkey and cheese hero’s here . Oh my goodness , their calamari and dipping sauce is to die for . They have zeppos , Sicilians , calzones. You can sit down and watch some tv while enjoying a nice cheesy saucy slice of pizza ! It’s a wonderful place that is run but a very nice family.

Parking: There’s a few parking spaces right in front and you can also park on the side . I’ve never had an issue parking and I’ve dined in a few times and I have also taken out too .”

“I had been getting tired of the same American food all the time. Allan's has so many healthy and diverse Mediterranean choices. I love that the vegetables in the salads are very fresh.”

“If you want authentic Szechuan style that's the place to be. Today was our third time there and so far we are very pleased with the quality. We ordered cumin beef, shredded pork with green hot pepper and a tofu and pork belly dish. They are all very tasty with distinct layers of flavors that blend so well.
