Dining at House of Stefas is a full Greek experience. From being warmly greeted and being taken care of by the staff, to the atmosphere, and food. You feel whisked away to Greece. One of the most aesthetic restaurants in the area. I happened to visit with my mother, but I would highly recommend it for a romantic date night, or even larger parties for friend/family gatherings.
we walked in on a Tuesday night and the place was pretty packed. the hostess was so welcoming and showed us 2 options of where we could sit at a table for 2. as soon as we sat down someone came to grab our water order and bring us cheese and olives. the menus are extensive and quite fun to read. we ended up with the chicken kabobs type main dish and I got the salmon. we even started with the scallop appetizer.

The ambiance exudes a warmth akin to Apollo's light, with laughter and Dionysian joy filling the air, creating an atmosphere of welcoming camaraderie.
The menu at House of Stefas is a testament to the divine, with dishes that rival the nectar and ambrosia of Olympus. Tender lamb that falls apart with ease, dolmades wrapped tighter than Athena's secrets, and tzatziki so divine it could quell the wrath of Ares himself – each bite is a journey through the realms of flavor. The service, too, is ceremonial, infused with a reverence for food, guests, and the shared ritual of the table.
While the restaurant and decor may exceed expectations, the food and service can be a mixed experience. Standout dishes like the tirokafteri, smoked eggplant, and the renowned galaktoboureko share the stage with less impressive offerings, such as the bland lamb and pepper flatbread and the poorly executed prawn ouzo. However, the overall experience at House of Stefas is one of a unique and memorable culinary adventure, where the simple, sacred magic of being truly welcomed awaits those who dare to step through its doors.
