“We only came here because it was listed on BringFido, since we were traveling with our 20 pound Shiba Inu, Toby. What a wonderful experience that we had! The food was amazing! And we had just gotten back from the Amalfi coast in Italy. So that has to say something for this place! Jimmy, our server, was a doll and was so kind and brought things out for our dog, like water, etc. - very warm and welcoming place!!! of course we had to eat alfresco, and the traffic was a bit busy at that hour - so if it wasn’t for that noise, we would had an even greater time! But the excellent food and the excellent service more than made up for it! we will definitely be back with Toby!“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“I found New York Gourmet Coffee during the pandemic, online. I have been ordering coffee sent to VA since then! Exceptional flavors, deeply rich taste and maximum enjoyment! My current favorite is the Chocolate Banana, but I always try new ones and generally order 5-8 flavors each time I order! Love you guys! Keep up the awesome work, Java Josh!“

“I ordered a lot and they forgot a few things. The guy behind the counter acted skeptically when I told him he had forgotten to give me some of the stuff I ordered. He never gave me a receipt so I could prove what I had paid for. Ultimately he gave me the rest of the order without much resistance, but it felt kinda shady like he assumed I wouldn't remember all the stuff I asked for. Sometimes it pays to be of a large and imposing size.

Parking: Adequate parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see any adequate wheelchair access. At least not from the parking lot where someone who might park actually try to enter the store from.“

“We used Mama Soup catering for my little ones drive by birthday. An employee came and set up the soup kettles and sandwiches along with plasticware and to go packages. He was professional, quick, covid safe and so very nice. Not only did everything look great, smell amazing and taste delicious, it was the perfect set up for those who drove by and departed as well as for those who stayed. My family and friends couldn’t rave enough about the food. Those who stayed had seconds and even took leftovers home. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we had. I cannot wait to use Mama Soup again or just stop by for some wholesome goodness! Thank you for making my sons day so special.“

However, one caveat is that the reception inside the building is nonexistent. If I want to reload/add funds to my Starbucks account, for example, I have to step outside for the internet to work…“

Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. “We placed an order for a smash burger without the cheese - the restaurant accidentally put cheese on it and I was quite upset because we confirmed it many times (lactose intolerance)… the person who helped me was super super nice, he re-made the entire order AND had it delivered to us for free, AND was nice enough to add courtesy drinks. “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

When our PTSA requested a donation for our Supermarket Bingo they didn’t hesitate for a second. 🙏🏽
