He even gave me his personal cell number. We ordered 14 pies to be delivered to the parking lot to feed all our JV Football players and cheer leaders. “Was hearing how great their pizza and food was, so figured I’d start with their pizza. Was a bit disappointed that they only had about 6 pizza choices for a slice at the busy lunchtime hour. Opted for a regular and one that had what looked like mozzarella and another cheese. Both were huge slices, sauce is nicely sweet, crust is thin and crisp (in my opinion….as it should be). Wish they left the pizza in the oven a bit longer to fully melt the cheese so it didn’t pull off in one big piece. Pizza definitely delivered on taste, but I found them both very oily (do they drizzle olive oil on top?) and a bit salty for my taste. This would not stop me from trying their other food items as well as a specialty pizza. As previously mentioned staff is helpful and accommodating.“

I think the crust of the pizza used to be better. With toppings, the pizza becomes soggy very easily and the crust is less crispy than I remember.
It's best if you order plain cheese or white pizza, so the base doesn't become soggy and the crust remains crispy.“

“I recently stopped into Nicky’s Pizza & Deli in Montebello, NY, and wow—what a memorable visit from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the guys behind the counter greeted me like an old friend, practically welcoming me in with open arms.

I ordered their Parmesan pie and a BBQ chicken slice, while my friend went for a piping-hot Sicilian and a chicken-bacon slice. Every bite was fantastic—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The Parmesan pie had that perfect cheesy crisp, the BBQ chicken slice was savory and satisfying, the Sicilian arrived steaming and soft, and the chicken bacon slice was a hearty, flavorful one-two punch.

What truly stood out was their service—they made me feel like family, not just a customer. And props where they’re due: even the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which is huge for a casual spot like this.
