“Had Tagliata (steak) with mushrooms and spaghetti w/clam sauce. SOOOO GOOD! Clams tasted fresh; spaghetti was delightfully Al Dente. Steak was cooked medium rare, tender, and delicious, and the mushrooms were bursting with flavor. Waitress Ersa gave us great recommendations and was professional and courteous. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!“

I’m here at Carmine And Rays for the Margherita pies any and every time! The sauce is the most authentic flavorful taste and closest to my Italian grandmas I can get in the area. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the venison was the best tasting venison to exist. The location is great but there are only a few tables for sitting at and really most people take out from there. The people who work there are very friendly outgoing and eager to please when it comes to the food.“

“Our school football team was visiting Waldwick HS yesterday. I called Mangia as it was the closest high school. The owner Freddie answered the phone. He was so helpful! He even gave me his personal cell number. We ordered 14 pies to be delivered to the parking lot to feed all our JV Football players and cheer leaders. I think the crust of the pizza used to be better. With toppings, the pizza becomes soggy very easily and the crust is less crispy than I remember.
It's best if you order plain cheese or white pizza, so the base doesn't become soggy and the crust remains crispy.“

The sauce hits all the right notes, and the pizza is loaded with cheesy goodness. If I had to choose between Martio's and any other pizza in the world, I’d choose Martio's without hesitation.

Beyond the pizza, the Italian combo sandwich is delicious, and the pasta fagioli soup, garlic bread, antipasto, and gelato are all standout dishes. 10/10, will always recommend.“

As a family of native New Yorkers, we'd like to think we all know good pizza here at our house. We've been all over for good pizza, but this place has always been our at home go-to place to order from. Our grandparents ordered here for years before we moved locally and started ordering ourselves about three years ago - at least 6 or 7 years of happy customers between both families. The last 4 or 5 times we've ordered here we've been pretty disappointed - but today we received the order that officially has gotten us to the point where we will no longer be ordering or picking up food here anymore. Tonight's dinner was officially a waste of money. The peppers and onions were raw on a 1/2 sausage peppers and onions 1/2 extra cheese pie. We asked for it to be cooked well done, which we have plenty of times before, and the pizza had to be cooked in our oven so that the dough could finish cooking. The whole thing was a big, sloppy mess when we opened the cover. This place used to be great quality food - every single time. I get that times are tough and things are expensive, and things can't always be perfect. There's been a serious decline going on though, and tonight was kinda the last straw for our family.“
