“Got invited to a #yelp event. I said pizza. I’m in. This place is kind of hidden but well worth it. Many pizza slices available. Soon as you walked in and smell the greatness you are going to have. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. “So yeah, this is a restaurant in a grocery store, but that doesn't mean they cheap out on their offerings. I've been here a few times and I've been very happy with my food. Besides the Burgers being tasty and the Tuscan fries being Excellent, the advantage of eating here is that you have every beverage available in the store and also the option of getting the Wegman's buffet for sides and such. An excellent lunch stop!“

“With all the competition Johnny's faces in Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, and Suffern they have clearly shown from opening day to the present why they are the top choice. Every aspect of a business a customer would want they excel (product, cleanliness, customer service, and menu options). Besides a superlative slice of pizza their Sicilian is larger than others without being burnt on top (commonly found elsewhere), and their version of the Deep Dish slice is tremendous. If you want to dine in, take out, or not leave the comfort of your home and have the food delivered, they are the Must Go To spot in the area.“

“We recently discovered this amazing pizza and baked goods spot while dining at its sister restaurant, Al Dente Pasta Co., next door. Luciano's is now my favorite pizza spot in the area! Their dough is amazing and it really stands out in the white pizza with sausage and their simply amazing garlic knots (served with lots of fresh garlic and high quality olive oil). We are hooked! The staff go above and beyond (they treated us to a fabulous homemade chocolate chip cookie on a recent order). Their catering menu looks wonderful. “I went here yesterday with my son after his evaluation next door. The pizza is SO GOOD. Closest thing I ever had to NYC pizza…kosher ingredients definitely make a difference. “Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. Their francese sauce is absolutely fantastic, the stuffed lasagna excellent and the best Ceasar salad I ever had. “My sister CJ treated me to a birthday lunch on Tues, Aug 20,2924. The owner graciously greeted us & prepared a delicious lunch which incl. fried calamari appetizer- light and delicate flavor. Veal Enza and my dish, a layered veal, prosciutto, thinly sliced eggplant and fresh mozzarella in a light sherry sauce. Portions were generous allowing us to bring home a treat for later in the day. The restaurant is comfortably cozy in size - about 12 tables, spotlessly clean and a super clean bathroom and kitchen. I know that might sound funny but as someone once in the culinary field I consider it a reflection of your work . Santo’s kitchen is fresh smelling, no odor of left over grease- his counters were shiny and floors clear. Since it was not yet dinner time I told him my background & asked to see his kitchen. It amazed me! If you dine at Enza’s you know your food is fresh, owner keeps it clean and his prices are reasonable. Great spot!

“My niece took me, along with her daughter (my grand niece) and her son (my grand nephew) , to The Mountain House this evening. While they had been there before, it was my first time eating there. The kids had their favorite, a white pizza pie, my niece had the Greek Salad with grilled chicken and I had the Chicken Bolognese and 2 glasses of Chardonnay. The Bolognese was DELICIOUS AND more than enough for one person! The Chardonnay was pretty good as well!“

The crust was perfectly baked, light and airy on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside. The sauce had a great balance of flavor, not too heavy, and the cheese melted beautifully without feeling greasy.

You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they make. Every bite felt fresh and well put together. The staff did an amazing job, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable.
