“Visiting Grumpys for the Pizza Hunters App and was not disappointed. Parking can be tricky. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. Really, the pizza has its own unique style and delivery. It all works. At one point, I thought maybe a little more sauce, since i am a big fan, but once it hits your taste Buds, you realize that it all works perfectly together and that's what makes it unique as a Grumpys Pizza. “In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. “Very friendly and attentive staff! This was a great experience. Bread came out with a plate of delicious mozzarella and tomato in olive oil (complimentary). I had shrimp parm that was very tasty. Loved the sauce. I ordered it with the roasted potatoes, and although I thought they were a bit lacking in flavor (need some spice or something), I was so happy that I had a choice of pasta, salad, or potato. My husband had the chicken sorrentino and really liked that too. He ordered it with a salad and that also was good. We ordered two desserts. Cannoli was good, but I've had better. My husband really enjoyed the banana pudding. Then they gave us zeppoles on the house, which we had to take home as we were already stuffed with good food. Highly recommend this place!“

“We found this place on a spur of the moment lunch date decision and so glad we did as we really enjoyed ourselves so much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. The owner Stephanie I think is her name was so welcoming and even let our dog come join us as it was late and not crowded in the front. Our service was perfect too and I will return for sure maybe for dinner to try the other pasta dishes and more pizza.“

“Who knew there could be so many ways to spice up a meatball sub! When I first moved to the area, a local recommended this place. I was intrigued by all the interesting options on the menu and had to try. Although I want to try everything, I love my usual order so much that I haven’t been able to stray. My go to is the Buckwild Balls Sandwich, which I highly recommend. Sometimes the bread is a little burnt, but otherwise cooked to perfection. I will continue going back and maybe one day I’ll feel adventurous enough to stray from my usual!“
“An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza ? we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. “I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“
“Cool new spot in town! I was reluctant to try this place out but I decided to give it a try after seeing a nice crowd in there. It turns out there is a new owner, he just kept the name of the place the same. A mistake in my opinion but at least he did one good thing. He hired a great bartender named I know from Barrel and Brew. This guy can make a great drink and he is so personable. He interacts well with guests and designed a great menu of drinks. I enjoyed a couple of delicious margaritas while I was there. They also had a DJ named Bronson playing some great music. I look forward to seeing how this place does because I've always said this spot would make a great bar because of the nice patio outside. It would make a great hangout for the summer. I can't really comment on the food because I only tried an order of wings but they were good. The ambience though gave me reason to believe this place could make it at this spot.“
“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“I have passed this place thousands of times, but never ate here. I stopped in tonight and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza, 2 heroes and some cannoli's to go. The pizza was excellent and in my opinion, better than the pizza at other nearby restaurants! The heroes also got great reviews!! Although I'm not a huge fan of cannoli's, they were very good and hit the spot :) I have no idea why it took me so long to try this place out, but I will def. be back! “Where do I begin? We had our daughter's party scheduled from 3:00pm-5:00pm and from the moment we came in, the staff greeted us. We met our hostess Lisa almost immediately as she came right out to introduce herself and walk us over to our table. We got there about half an hour early and everything was already nicely set up. Throughout our time there, Lisa did a spectacular job by being so friendly and attentive. The manager, Denishah was also amazing. She also came over to introduce herself and let us know that if we needed anything to please come see her. She also helped provide support during the party and was just so incredibly friendly, kind and professional. We all had a great time and my daughter wants to come back to this Chuck E. Alex and his team are making some of the best thin crust pizza in the area.We came in with a group of six, and they happily accommodated us. They were friendly, welcoming, and the food was delicious. The crust was thin thin thin, and the cheese and sauce were the perfect mix of salty and sweet. I wish I had taken photos of the rest of our food, but we ate it too quickly (that’s how good it is!) We had two plain small thin crust pies, a half pepperoni/half sausage, and a small thin crust with half “the works” and half veggie. We also got a salad and two Italian subs and an arugula salad. Everything we ate was fantastic!We also got to meet the owner Alex, who has put his heart and soul into this place. He is a stand-up guy who really cares about his customers. “Dante's is a great place. We have been delivery customers for a few years always enjoying dinners, apps as well as fantastic pizza. Deliveries are always quick and efficient . Friday we had to stop by a chef from the CIA who lives in Cresskill and we mentioned feeling like a nice bowl of pasta. So it was no surprise that Dante's was the pick. It's definitely one of the best around. The menu is fairly priced, they are absolutely affordable and the menu is thoughtfully put together. Service was great . Our waiter "E" did a great job. He was on point with his attentive service. He was assisted by another young man and for Lydia and me , we appreciate seeing teamwork. It's what makes restaurants work well. And couple that with quality ingredients and a kitchen crew that works well together and takes pride in the product they put out, well you have a restaurant like Dante's.“

Tonight we had a Nonna pie, squid ink pasta with shrimp and crab meat, fried calamari, New England Clam Chowder, bread and pistachio cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Nonna was flavorful and crispy. Clam Chowder was light and full of clams. The squid ink pasta was some of the best we had. Calamari was great as was the complimentary bread. For dessert we had the pistachio cheesecake a nice way to end the meal. Owner Rosario and staff treat you like family. Our server Marcella was top notch.“

This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.“
