“With all the competition Johnny's faces in Mahwah, Ramsey, Allendale, and Suffern they have clearly shown from opening day to the present why they are the top choice. Every aspect of a business a customer would want they excel (product, cleanliness, customer service, and menu options). Besides a superlative slice of pizza their Sicilian is larger than others without being burnt on top (commonly found elsewhere), and their version of the Deep Dish slice is tremendous. If you want to dine in, take out, or not leave the comfort of your home and have the food delivered, they are the Must Go To spot in the area.“

They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! “Got invited to a #yelp event. I said pizza. I’m in. This place is kind of hidden but well worth it. Many pizza slices available. Soon as you walked in and smell the greatness you are going to have. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. “Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. Empanadas are delicious. Recommend highly..Many blessings for their business.. Will order again...“

“Martio's is my go-to pizza spot. Whenever we have family visiting, it’s a must-stop so they can experience some truly fantastic pizza. The dough is perfect, with just the right amount of crust. The sauce hits all the right notes, and the pizza is loaded with cheesy goodness. If I had to choose between Martio's and any other pizza in the world, I’d choose Martio's without hesitation.

Their francese sauce is absolutely fantastic, the stuffed lasagna excellent and the best Ceasar salad I ever had. “My sister CJ treated me to a birthday lunch on Tues, Aug 20,2924. The owner graciously greeted us & prepared a delicious lunch which incl. fried calamari appetizer- light and delicate flavor. Veal Enza and my dish, a layered veal, prosciutto, thinly sliced eggplant and fresh mozzarella in a light sherry sauce. Portions were generous allowing us to bring home a treat for later in the day. The restaurant is comfortably cozy in size - about 12 tables, spotlessly clean and a super clean bathroom and kitchen. I know that might sound funny but as someone once in the culinary field I consider it a reflection of your work . Santo’s kitchen is fresh smelling, no odor of left over grease- his counters were shiny and floors clear. Since it was not yet dinner time I told him my background & asked to see his kitchen. It amazed me! If you dine at Enza’s you know your food is fresh, owner keeps it clean and his prices are reasonable. Great spot!

“I have mixed reviews depending upon who is making my pizza and what kind of day they are having. Our family's go-to is a Sicilian pie. On a good day, it is superb with a crispy, chewy crust with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Other days, and thankfully, it's not quite as often, the crust is too thick, soft with large wide border of plain crust.“

The sausage broccoli rabe pizza was one of the best slices I’ve her had and that means a lot coming from me since I am a traditional cheese slice or margarita slice girl. We also had the eggplant rollatini and the arugula salad which were both so yummy. One of the best arugula salads i’ve had! Truly so unbelievably delicious. And on the other hand the New Jersey Italian vibes, the welcoming family-like environment was truly so special. The hospitality of the owner, Freddie, was unmatched!! Gave us a pint of sauce on him as well as the most delicious cannoli dessert of hot dough topped with powdered sugar and cannoli cream! We were in a food coma. Will be back soon!!“
