“been going there for centuries and then Chris to over the store and it’s still awesome like his chicken Parm loves my favorite or the cheeseburgers chicken noodle soup. There’s anything that I can’t eat from there. I’m there all the time fresh vegetables mashed potatoes specials during the week are great and if you want something different, he’ll make it for you. “I usually like eating an English breakfast in the morning but if I feel like eating a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, this is the place to get it. I feel like my taste buds are having a party with every bite. 10/10 would recommend somedays they get pretty busy just know its definitely worth the hype“

“This is by far the best deli! They have the best food and staff always so attentive and quick to take and make orders, so friendly and they give huge amounts of food with your order and are not even close to skimpy. “This deli has the best sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese wedge and they were very generous with the meat. I also purchased 3 beef empanadas and OMG they were the best I ever had. “I have lived in Verplanck for the past 12yrs. now. My situation is as such that I don’t have a car so getting back and forth to the Grocery store is difficult for me. Jimmy gets what I need in his store and I am so grateful to be able to shop there. Jimmy and his sons are pleasant, respectful and welcoming whenever I go there.“

“Absolutely 10/10. Came in on a whim after saying “Gosh I need to try them” for a long time. Don’t be like me, TRY THEM NOW! I’m writing this review mid-sandwich because it just couldn’t wait. There are just some places you can tell take pride in the kind of product they’re putting out. Delicious ingredients and care make for the best food, every time- something they have perfected here. Country deli’s staff were friendly and everyone seemed to have a genuine smile. One of their regulars walked in behind me- they knew him by name and began making his sandwich before the door was shut behind him. Rest assured I will frequent enough to be known by them from now on. Fighting myself on going back to order another sandwich right now.“

“Tacos were very good, This place looks run down but their bathroom is nice.
This place gives off gas station vibes but I did not get sick eating their food. I ordered 4 steak tacos and they tasted delicious and did not leave an onion taste/smell in my mouth which I am very grateful for!“

“One of the best places in the area for authentic Latin American food—hands down better than the spot across the street (no food war intended!). I order the same dish every time because it’s consistently the best-tasting food I’ve had with excellent portion size for the price, in Westchester County and I'm from Rockland County. I’ll drive over the Tappan Zee just to eat here. The staff are incredibly kind, too. I’m not sure of the name of the gentleman who usually works the register, but he always greets you with a warm smile and is genuinely positive! 5 STARS“

“This place is really great for an impossibly cheap and delicious meal. It’s half market, half eatery. My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. Definitely check this place out when in Peekskill.“

“always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.“

“Great authentic Central American food! From their tamales, tacos and popusas, on top of the regular deli food. Also every Sunday they have a beef soup that's very good!! Main reason why I keep coming back. I highly recommend this place.“

“They have great sandwiches. I'll pick them up before going sailing and they're a very satisfying meal. The only downside is that the wait time is sometimes a bit long (20-25 minutes even when I call in beforehand for cold sandwiches). I think it is justified though since they are often very busy and that makes me happy that they have so much business. I like the Bomber sandwich a lot if I'm in the mood for a hot one! Totally recommend, but if you're in a hurry during their daytime hours you might need to account for a little bit of a wait.“
