“While up from DC, my family visited Scotty's after going to the fairground light show. The food was excellent and the staff and owner were very friendly. They made my son steamed broccoli upon request, an item not on the regular menu. The atmosphere was family-friendly and inviting. “The place is reasonable priced, food is good. I will let you know if you order fried dough and they ask you if you want cinnamon sugar, decline. They sprinkle cinnamon on top of the powder sugar. Today my ratio was more cinnamon than sugar it felt like I ate a teaspoon of cinnamon Unpleasant . I brought it back and asked for my money back, which they did one of the people behind the counter says that’s the way we make it and everyone likes it. I am sure if the ratio had been different, I would have enjoyed as well. They do a good job, probably would not have written this if the comment had not been made.“
