“Typical family run Chinese takeout. I am trying different Chinese takeout out places in this area and try to support local businesses when I can.

Aesthetically, there is a tiny front area to pick up and order food from. There was a single folding table that someone was eating at. The tiny strip parking lot was crowded with cars from other stores and the spaces were cramped.

The picture-overhead menu was typical, with generic pictures of the plates - seemed dated but this is typical.

The counter person took my order and was friendly.

I ordered a half dozen dishes totaling over $40 as take out for 2 people. Food arrived quickly with barely a 10 minute wait.

Shrimp Chow Fun: (not bad)
most take out restaurants have a ‘browner’ sauce and usually heavier oil. This was a little bland by comparison but not bad. Vegetables were crisp and fresh, the rice noodles were not bloated and a little soy sauce to season to taste - as you like it is all that is required. Shrimp
Content was adequate.

Boneless Ribs: (solid!)
A barometer for me, Some have a runny bbq sauce while others might make it too dry. I actually would rate this amongst the best as the sauce was not too heavy, and not runny. It was flavorful and the pork had a bit of a sear but not dry. I would recommend this over white rice.

Wonton Soup:(recommended)
The wontons were not mushy or bloated. The broth was savory and tasty. The scallions were a delicious touch. One of the better offerings in the area.

Chicken with garlic sauce:(not bad)
Vegetables were all crispy and fresh. The chicken was moist. The sauce was a little on the light side- could have had a little more bite for my taste but overall, a good dish.

Hunan pork: (not bad)
Similar overall review as with the Chicken with garlic sauce. Fresh and tasty, perhaps a little on the bland side but not bad overall.

“I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“

“Great quality Chinese take out food. We've had the General TSO chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll and the chicken chow fun which both are very delicious. “This Chinese takeout was close to pier in West Nyack, parking lot was huge for a handful of shops, easily accommodate 50+ cars with shaded trees and full sun!! Liked the chicken lomein, requested easy sauce since Chinese food can be salty/ soysauce dark/ red spicy which didn't prefer. Lomein was sweet and tasty with shredded chicken, nappa cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms, very appetizingly fragrant. Restaurant accepts Zelle payment if no cash!! Would recommend and return again!“

Sadly the noodles were over cooked and barely cold and the sauce was runny with little flavor. I couldn’t eat it. “5+ years ago my friend insisted on only getting chinese food only from here, so I agreed to please her. I was sold. Every dish was fresh and tasty. ( but I’m the type who tells them exactly what I want in the food. I love it a touch spicy with real garlic ( NO garlic oil) and they listens to my request ECAH TIME I order. The place itself is average size and clean. The staff are quiet and always courteous with my daughter and I. ?Ghengis Kahn is the only place I ordered from. My only two disappointments are 1) NO delivery 2) They DON”t except cards.??‍♀️??‍♀️ During quarantineI I tried the only place which was open n delivered ? I did NOT finished the food. “I stopped in Ramsey Chinese Food for dinner which is in a strip mall near City Hall where I had to visit that night. We were having a cold front and I was really in the mood for some soup. I saw that they had Cantonese Wonton soups on the menu and I thought this would be great. So I ordered the House Special Cantonese Soup, which had a nice portion of Roast Pork, Shrimp and Chicken in it with Lo Mein noodles in a rich chicken broth. \n\nIt was not the richer chicken broth I was used to in these soups but the owner’s daughter explained to me that she was catering to the locals who like a clearer stock. It was still delicious. They put lots of meats and I had the opinion for vegetables which I declined. I really enjoyed it and it cleared me up and I felt better.\n\nI think the egg rolls were made in house and were perfectly fried and filled with chopped roast pork and cabbage. They were wonderful. I ate at the restaurant and they have a nice tv where I could watch the local news. It was a nice dinner and I liked their very friendly owners. \n\nYou will have a nice meal here.“

“I'm surprised that I haven't left a review. The first time I ordered my food there was a mixup and I found myself waiting for 40 minutes in person for chinese food. I was frustrated. But then I ate the food and it was worth the wait.

I have been searching far and wide (in Rockland) for a place that could fry tofu in the correct way and has a sauce that is multi dimensional. I tried the same dish, general tsos tofu, at 10-12 other places in the area. Golden Dragon is the best.

If you have a sauce that adds flavor into something tasteless like tofu your sauce probably works wonders for meat/chicken dishes.

I have caught a bit of the behind the counter family drama a couple of times but the mother can make a great dish. I love her. I don't mind any of the drama. I just get my food, leave and return the next time.“

“Recently we stopped at China Wok on the way home to pick up something for dinner. It seemed to be new Owner or Management. It was a Takeout order, I found the food to taste very fresh, the Vegetables and rice were delicious. The chicken was tender as well. The service was fast and friendly. I'm guessing that the majority of their business is takeout, that's why I rate the atmosphere 4 star, there's always room for improvement, for a takeout place it was acceptable, at least it was clean. “We've been getting food here for decades. Even with changes of staff, the food is consistently excellent. It's always been cash only, btw; there's a bank w/atm a few steps away if you forget. The ribs are meaty and generous, the eggplant's sauce is well balanced. If you ask, they'll hold back on salt, or give you a bit more sauce on your order. A local favorite for takeout :)“
