“I always order from your establishment. The food is delicious. However, tonight I ordered through beyond menu and placed and order to be delivered at 7pm. I called the restaurant around 730pm.. The woman that was there answered the phone and apologized saying” She never saw the order and the food will be made right away. I wound up showing up to pick up the food. The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. Then she starts talking to me and I showed her that I paid. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“

“I’m really glad this place is close by. The food here is very tasteful. I order the garlic shrimp with mixed vegetables and they always serve fresh vegetables and generously sized shrimp. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Chinese takeouts in the Nyack area. The owners are a hardworking family who provide friendly service.“

“Typical family run Chinese takeout. I am trying different Chinese takeout out places in this area and try to support local businesses when I can.

Aesthetically, there is a tiny front area to pick up and order food from. There was a single folding table that someone was eating at. The tiny strip parking lot was crowded with cars from other stores and the spaces were cramped.

The picture-overhead menu was typical, with generic pictures of the plates - seemed dated but this is typical.

The counter person took my order and was friendly.

I ordered a half dozen dishes totaling over $40 as take out for 2 people. Food arrived quickly with barely a 10 minute wait.

Shrimp Chow Fun: (not bad)
most take out restaurants have a ‘browner’ sauce and usually heavier oil. This was a little bland by comparison but not bad. Vegetables were crisp and fresh, the rice noodles were not bloated and a little soy sauce to season to taste - as you like it is all that is required. Shrimp
Content was adequate.

Boneless Ribs: (solid!)
A barometer for me, Some have a runny bbq sauce while others might make it too dry. I actually would rate this amongst the best as the sauce was not too heavy, and not runny. It was flavorful and the pork had a bit of a sear but not dry. I would recommend this over white rice.

Wonton Soup:(recommended)
The wontons were not mushy or bloated. The broth was savory and tasty. The scallions were a delicious touch. One of the better offerings in the area.

Chicken with garlic sauce:(not bad)
Vegetables were all crispy and fresh. The chicken was moist. The sauce was a little on the light side- could have had a little more bite for my taste but overall, a good dish.

Hunan pork: (not bad)
Similar overall review as with the Chicken with garlic sauce. Fresh and tasty, perhaps a little on the bland side but not bad overall.

“For a long time I've been in search for a good Chinese takeout restaurant in Rockland. China King in New City USED to be really good. But they've gone down in quality. Now, I think there's a new King in town. I've eaten at Great Wall about 5 times in the past 3 weeks and I think this is easily the best Chinese food in Rockland. Every dish's ingredients is SOOOO fresh with great tastes. Absolutely delicious! I look forward to trying more of their dishes.“

I’ve tried all the classics: here chicken broccoli, boneless ribs, fried chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken, steak and peppers, white rice, pork fried rice, shrimp fried rice, and vegetable fried rice. Every single time, the food was hot, fresh, flavorful, and honestly nostalgic in the best way possible. It reminds me of how great some of the classic Chinese takeout spots used to be years ago.

The prices are incredible for the quality and portions you get, and the staff always greet you with a smile when placing your order. That kind of consistency and customer service is hard to find nowadays.

“This is my new favorite restaurant, serving a variety of Chinese foods not found in other Rockland County Chinese restaurants. The place is a little small but nicely decorated and comfortable. The menu highlights what you expect from the name, dumplings. These dumplings filled with shrimp, pork, pork and Napa cabbage and crab are qualitatively different from other local offerings in that they are delicate, filled fully but with thinner wrapping. There are fluffy yet chewy rolls filled with choices of duck, pork belly, cucumbers and other vegetables. Noodle soups that are Japanese, Korean or Chinese, again with various meats and vegetarian options. Their chicken wings are wonderfully sauced while retaining a perfect crispness. Another novel and delicious dish is their sweet and sour rib pieces. These are small nuggets of spare ribs, on the bone, that are covered with soft and chewy pork. The growing menu offers more traditional dishes as well.
The food here has been consistently excellent over the four times we've had take-out from Dumpling House. The food here is priced on the higher side, but for the quality and variety of this cuisine, we feel that it is well worth it. The young staff are pleasant and friendly and eager to help with selections from the menu when asked.“

( but I’m the type who tells them exactly what I want in the food. I love it a touch spicy with real garlic ( NO garlic oil) and they listens to my request ECAH TIME I order. The place itself is average size and clean. The staff are quiet and always courteous with my daughter and I. ?Ghengis Kahn is the only place I ordered from. “I stopped in Ramsey Chinese Food for dinner which is in a strip mall near City Hall where I had to visit that night. We were having a cold front and I was really in the mood for some soup. I saw that they had Cantonese Wonton soups on the menu and I thought this would be great. So I ordered the House Special Cantonese Soup, which had a nice portion of Roast Pork, Shrimp and Chicken in it with Lo Mein noodles in a rich chicken broth. \n\nIt was not the richer chicken broth I was used to in these soups but the owner’s daughter explained to me that she was catering to the locals who like a clearer stock. It was still delicious. They put lots of meats and I had the opinion for vegetables which I declined. I really enjoyed it and it cleared me up and I felt better.\n\nI think the egg rolls were made in house and were perfectly fried and filled with chopped roast pork and cabbage. They were wonderful. I ate at the restaurant and they have a nice tv where I could watch the local news. It was a nice dinner and I liked their very friendly owners. \n\nYou will have a nice meal here.“
