“Jill and I had a wonderful early dinner at Aroma Thyme Bistro yesterday after the Blueberry Festival. A few months ago, after my Mom's funeral, we had her repast at Aroma Thyme as well. The food was top notch gourmet fare every time. Jamie & Marcus took extraordinarily good care of us whether we came for an intimate dinner, or as a large group. Highly recommended and always returning.”

It wasn’t easy but we had to wrap up some of our dinners to take home because we wanted desserts - from the mango pudding, vegan cheesecake and the ice cream we all had something we really enjoyed. “I’ve been on a tour of ice cream shops in the area—so far Cherries, Sleeping Giant, and Barthel’s. I think Barthel’s wins for me, because they have 5 different flavors of soft serve: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cotton candy, and I think pineapple. I got the strawberry and it actually tasted like strawberry, rather than something artificial! In terms of prices, they are very high—that small cone dipped in rainbow sprinkles was $5. Still, for the occasional treat, Barthel’s has the best soft-serve among these 3 ice cream shops.”

“Amazing flavor on the brisket and pulled pork, great selection of sauces, huge portions, definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. Highly recommend the empanadas with buffalo chicken and mac and cheese and the brisket and mac and cheese empanada. Very crispy, not overly saturated with grease, cooked perfectly. Also great friendly staff and the to-go containers were very organized and carefully packed”

I highly recommend the Chicken Ceasar Wrap. so if your new to the area or looking for a decent place to eat I recommend stopping by!”
