“First time visit to La Perla in Averill Park, NY Thursday 8/17/23 6:30pm reservation. We came because of the music by The Next Chapter, Alan Saunders & Mike Derrico formerly of the Good for the Soul band that played at our wedding in 2006. They were set up in an nice courtyard at the rear of the restaurant, but an hour later had to move inside due to the rain. Very prompt service by the staff. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. We settled on two appetizers: eggplant rollatini ($20) and the clams casino ($22). Note: clams are offered in 6 different styles. Italian style entrees from $18-33, more for specialty fish entrees i.e. zuppa de pesce $51. This is a fine dining restaurant offering well prepared and a variety of dinners. Bill was $100. for two meals & four alcoholic beverages. We ended our evening at the unique bar & dining area where we could still see & hear the band. This place also offers overnight accommodations & is an event venue. A very good first visit here. Restaurant Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4PM - 9PM Friday & Saturday 4PM - 10PM Sunday 3pm-9pm Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Reservations are recommended. “girlfriend said it was good so I tried it. was a solid 9/10 on any scale imaginable I'm picky af. I like a flop free cheesy light sauce crispy pie and they made it perfect. it's salty and not too much water content in the sauce FOR ONCE. was FASTER than their time estimate and its well worth $1 for what tastes like amazing breadsticks as your crust. best $15 8 cut in the 518 so far“

“They have 4 vegan pizzas and 2 vegan appetizers (mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers). I had the appetizers and both the vegan Florentine and vegan Fra Diavolo pizzas. Highly recommend to grab the pizza to the Albany Distillery Company and grab some drinks too!“

“This is a diner. A diner diner. We enjoyed our visit and the friendly staff and other folks eating. The 4 stars is because one of our team did not care for her food, and wanted a thicker shake. The other said onion rings were soggy from old oil. The fish is fun In that they are fish logs. It was a diner. I like diners!“
