Walking into Peekskill public you get an immediate nostalgia for Dublin, Ireland, it's a cool feeling.U guys got wings? Yes some of the best, the friendly bartender said and of course they'll all say that.With a good selection of cold NA beers, was happy to have 2 before being handed a plate of wings (buffalo), a perfect mix of drums and flats. “This establishment is more like a three but had ample outdoor seating in a nice quiet area on a beautiful day that made the visit that much more enjoyable. The service wa excellent. The menu had a roast pork on garlic bread which was a diner staple that I have not seen on menus in years. However the garlic bread was not quite crisp enough and came with lettuce and tomato that detracted from the taste and experience. It came with an Asia Noodle Salad that was superb. We also had the Fish and Chips which was breaded nicely and the fish was excellent. It was accomanied by steak fries that I though could have been a little crisper and a creamy Cole Slaw that hit the spot. On tap was a cold house Cream Ale that was spot on. All in all, a nice afternoon out and will come back to again and try the Shepherds Pie if we are in the area. Also the menu had quite a few Gluten Free desserts.“

“We have been coming to Davey's for years. It is a great local spot to go for a few drinks and have some bar food. It is a causal Irish pub. All the bartenders are friendly. Their food has gone downhill in my opinion, because their menu has changed. For example, they no longer have the godfather sandwich on the menu. Their chicken fingers have recently changed, and are not as good as they used to be. However, I love the honey mustard and horseradish dipping sauce they come with. They do have some of the best bloody marys in the area.“

They had a mix and it made it more enjoyable to listen to.My friend and I had the Potato Skins and the French Onion Soup ? for appetizers and later we both had burgers. She had a cheese burger and I had the Mushroom Swiss both came with fries.The portions were very nice. Perfect to be exact in my our opinion. I would definitely consider coming back here with friends and family.
