They serve fresh and tasty baked goods and food, with amazing sandwiches like the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage on Multigrain, which can be customized with extras like spinach. The small space has limited seating, but the back porch offers a lovely view and is a great place to relax, especially in warm weather. The inside sitting area has been eliminated during recent renovations, leaving a cramped bar stool area, but customers can also sit in the outside back or in the Water Street Market community area in front, both of which are fun spots. Friendly staff provide decently paced service, even when busy. Although the kitchen often appears closed and they now mainly serve breakfast despite older menus, the breakfast remains delicious, and decaf coffee is very good. This family-owned spot is a favorite among locals, perfect for a quick coffee or breakfast stop with super low prices and a great selection of hot sauces. It’s also a cozy corner of New Paltz, ideal for grabbing a tea or latte and walking around nearby shops.
