We stopped in after a day trip to the Mohonk Preserve. The restaurant is tucked away behind a hotel. Friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating, and a great bartender. We had hanger steak frites with homemade excellent fries and asparagus. The steak was outstanding, cooked to perfection and savory. The dessert menu is thin, with only 4 offerings but otherwise this was a top notch dining experience.
We enjoyed a delicious meal and such friendly service at Novella's. We were staying at the hotel nearby and walked over - what a treat! It may be a little pricier than some other places but it is so worth it. Everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful.

This was our first time visiting Novella's, for a party of 200+ people. The room where we were seated was a reasonable size while it was easy to pass and move through. The menu was quite large with a lot to choose from, and the chicken parm I ordered was pretty decent, but I wouldn't call it the best in the world.
