“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“Today we ordered food online and when we got to the restaurant everything was ready, my wife just went in and came out with the food ready and hot, when we got home the food was still hot, the Sesame chicken was very delicious, I will definitely come back to eat Even though it took me half an hour to get there, it's worth it ??“

“I am so happy to live right near Kiku because they are a solid, authentic place, which is so hard to find. Their beef and broccoli as well as the lo mein is as good as Chinatown. Some Chinese takeout places I’ve tried in the outer boroughs use really low quality meat and skimp on the good ingredients, but not Kiku! The sushi always tastes fresh and the proportion of stuffing to rice is perfect. There’s a parking lot right outside which is very convenient for pickup.“

“New kid on the block . Food is fresh but lacks taste . Presentation is excellent but need a little upbeat. We arrived without reservation at 8pm and They told us all seats are booked for 9 . We insisted and got seat and left at 830 way before next group arrived.

They also have ramen and different rice bowls. The pricing at this place is so affordable for fresh tuna and salmon. I’m used to paying over $20 for the servings they provide. Their prices range from $11-15. A nice Chinese family owns the restaurant and are always so wonderful to their customers and genuinely remember the regulars. “I got a takeout order of the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box to try this place for the first time. The chicken was really soft and delicious. Under the chicken there is cabbage and broccoli which were both cooked well. The California roll was good - the rice had good flavor, and the avocado was soft. I feel more confident to try their raw sushi now. I'll update my review whenever I get around to trying that.

This place used to be a Chinese store, and around 2022 a new management took over and turned it into a sushi place. it still looks like a regular Bronx Chinese store inside. Unlike other sushi restaurants, this isn't really the kind of place I'd want to sit and eat. But it's great for takeout.“

“Brought my parents here for dinner. I ordered chirashi (sashimi style fish over rice), my dad ordered a sushi combo, and my mom got the broiled mackerel (saba). Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great — restaurant is nicely decorated and they were playing soft jazz music in the background. Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. “This is basically my local sushi spot and it's not bad. I've also enjoyed their Katsu and Teriyaki.
Most of what I've had was pretty good however the location is meh. I'm probably getting 3 rolls tomorrow. This isn't a dine in kinda spot, I've packed up my order or had it delivered.“

Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

“We came here with Mommy and her aide. It was a nice little place. This is not a traditional Japanese restaurant, but it serves pretty good Japanese food. Lunch has good value due to their bento box. Winnie and Sherry served our table, and they were lovely to talk to. I had yaki udon. Mommy had salmon teriyaki. Her aide had a tempura box. Hubby had a katsu box. The ginger dressing for the salad was awesome. Each bento box includes a California roll but my noodle came with it too. Overall, the experience was pretty good. We don’t mind coming back.“

I saw good reviews on Grubhub and quite a few ppl mentioned it on Astoria reddit. I figured let me order a 3 roll lunch combo and see for myself. I was really impressed. The sushi was amazing and fresh! Good size rolls too. When I would order from Sakura they would be bite size. I do like Watawa too but I can’t justify paying $10 for a simple roll. This how I settled on Kumo. I def recommend Kumo for a good sushi fix.“

“Best Sushi in Yonkers. All the rolls are absolutely fresh and decadent. The quesadillas are excellent as well. A fun mix of Sushi & Mexican. A must go to if ever in Yonkers. I even dare say it is the best sushi in the Bronx. They are located less than 1/3 of a mile from the Bronx border and they deliver to the surrounding neighborhood in the Bronx. The guy who took our order is very amicable. The sushi chef prepares the rolls right in front of you. It was a great experience.“
