5s is a great local spot with 5 of everything on the menu, a pool table, and a great staff. The vibe is chill, lowkey, and familial, with a spacious back room. They play good, usually punk/rock music, and have weekly specials like girl punk Thursdays. The food is amazing, with specific meals like dumplings, roti, pho, beef lo mein, and chicken & pork hor fun soup being highlights. The noodles and soup are some of the best, and the pho is not to be missed. The cocktails are perfectly balanced, with subtle complexity, and use cold pressed ginger juice. The drinks, like the inferno, are delicious. The bar staff is lovely, kind, and accommodating, making nights awesome for celebrations like birthdays. The high life “ponies” are cute. This place feels like a gem and a new hot regular spot.
