Local spot serving basic Thai. Pad kee mao had great velveting on the beef and a noodle that was easily 5x the width of other noodles. Unfortunately the sauce is too sweet. I'd like to try their not sweet dishes, if those exist.
Amazing Thai restaurant with flavorful food and attentive service. They’re near Penn Station and have lunch specials, so this will be one of my go-to’s.
Stopped in for a meal and the food was delicious, both dishes were quickly delivered fresh from the kitchen. Cosy restaurant with laid back atmosphere.

The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food is good, with standout dishes like pad thai, green curry, and sticky rice with mango. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere, and the stir-fried vegetables in garlic sauce are particularly recommended. The spicy soup is very good, the chicken dumplings are homemade, and the ingredients are fresh and ripe. Abaya Thai Cuisine is a great choice in the theater district for a satisfying and authentic Thai meal.
