This place is decent if you're looking for a low key brunch spot. Somethings to note: The place isn't huge so try to get there early, it doesn't seem like they can cater to more than one group of people (5-6 people) at a time. Its affordable, the coffee is really good and just an overall cute spot to take a date.
I was drawn in by the egg sandwich, because I'd read a great review, but I fell in love because of the coffee. Being in from out of town, I wanted to avoid the touristy places and the national chains. I wanted something uniquely New York and that's what I found. The cafe had great ambiance. The guy behind the counter was friendly (and cute), and the food was excellent. I had a seat at a small table in a comfortable wing-back chair.
