Great place for northeastern Chinese food. The sweet and sour crispy pork tasted authentic and remained crispy even with delivery. The “Chinese salad” 老虎菜was a nice surprise and super refreshing. They have a lot a dishes that you don’t usually find in other Chinese restaurants, since NYC Chinese food scene is primarily Szechuan and Catonese food, it’s nice to find a place that focuses on Northern cuisine. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.
Love the food here and take out often. Minus stars for the takeout menu - it is very different than the in-house menu. We couldn't find our favorite dishes and finally grabbed the in-house menu ourselves. Not sure if that's because we aren't Asian and people assume we only want "safe" food? Menus should match each other. That said, the food is always delicious (though I noticed lately our favorite eggplant, potatoes and peppers is never at all spicy - when it has a pepper next...read full review

I work in the neighborhood, so frequent take out at this restaurant at lunchtime. The servers are always so friendly. Food is great for the prize, nice to have a moderately price Chinese food restaurant. So many have disappeared in New York City.
