Can we please talk about the fact that they don’t use seed oil 🙌🏻 The food is AMAZING the flavors are kicking ! I like to dine in but also order on uber eats
Love the ethiopean foods here. I had the lamb Awaze Tibs which were a real delight with tender meat and really a discover in spices and the way they tender the meat. I tried both the mint tea and the Ethiopean beer and really enjoyef it.

Based on the reviews, Awaze is a fantastic restaurant with amazing, flavorful food. The injera is tangy and moist, and the lentils are very hearty. The tibs have the right morsel size, and the meats are tender, with nicely spiced derq tibs. The mesir is the best, the gomen is perfect, the kitful is soft and flavorful, and the shirro is thick and hearty. The doro wat is flavorful and delicious, with generous portions. The service is fast, friendly, attentive, and personable. The interior is cute and cozy with great vibes, good warm lighting, and enjoyable music. The price is unbeatable, with a meal for $20, making it a top-5 spot for a neighborhood dinner in Harlem. A great addition to the neighborhood's dining scene, and they also have coffee in the mornings.
