Stunning views of the water
Bar Hugo Rooftop is a lovely rooftop restaurant with beautiful sunset views towards the WTC, New Jersey and the Hudson. The location and atmosphere are great, with comfy seats and a fine wine list. Enjoy craft cocktails, drinks and tasty calamari. The staff is kind, funny and attentive, and makes the night a total delight. The view of the 4th of July fireworks and the Hudson sunset are perfect. The space is not the biggest and gets filled up very fast on Friday evenings and weekends, but the ambiance is still amazing. Service is stressed at times, with a short wait for drinks, but staff explained the delay and did not offer smiles on a calm Monday evening. Overall the spot is fun, with good food, good drinks and a perfect view. The rooftop is above the restaurant with a clean exit after the show.
