Flex Mussels Reviews
Rebecca's is one of the best servers I've ever seen.
I had a first date here late at night and it was the perfect spot because it was intimate, beautiful indoor-to-outdoor transition seating, and it was lively while being mature and elevated. They have a late night happy hour which had a great menu selection including three full mussel plates with fries for $25. Our total bill was only $40! Thats amazing. I give it only 4 stars because it is very clean and plain in a way, whereas I prefer artistic, interesting places in East Village...read full review
Parma mussels and Thai mussels with truffle fries were amazing. The oysters were fresh and tasty and it made it even better that they were included in happy hour as well!

Flex Mussels offers delicious mussels, oysters, and bread. The friendly and accommodating staff provide great service, with hosts and servers being gracious and helpful. Customers love the food, especially the mussels in Thai broth and the exceptional Bangkok dish, along with the fabulous oysters and tuna melt. The service is excellent. Guests appreciate the big portions at reasonable prices, with cocktails being highly recommended. The greeter is always welcoming; the waiters patient and efficient. Mussels and French fries are perfectly prepared. Mocktails are amazing, like the spicy Panoma beverage. Plates were cleared on time but not before guests were ready. The food was terrific. Large meaty fresh mussels, seasoned perfectly. The bread, as always was great. The seared pea pods were excellent. Martinis hit the spot. The bathrooms were too dark. Flex Mussels is worth the trek. Excellent mussels, great drinks. If the weather is nice, there is great indoor/outdoor seating. Perfect for people watching, mussels, and a nice crisp white wine. The place is so popular it can get quite loud.
