First time trying a poke bowl at this place and did not disappoint, the service was fast, portions were generous and staff were friendly.
Food prices could be cheaper, but overall great quality food and usually if there is a line you have to wait max 7-8 minutes. I’ve been going there for at least 3-4 years and I totally recommend if you happen to be nearby.
Efficiency could be better. Please can you consider having two separate lines for poke and sushi/maki? Why am I standing in a 20 minute line for people to make bowls when I just want a roll. There’s no way it doesn’t impact the sales (from folks walking out of crowded lines).

The Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar at Hudson Eats offers excellent poke bowls, packed with fresh fish and delicious veggies. The poke bowl is enormous and comes with a variety of options, including salmon, tuna, seaweed, and tofu. Reasonably priced and generously portioned, it’s a go-to for balanced, flavorful meals. For around $22, you get a base, two proteins, and two veggies, with toppings available for a small extra charge. The fish is consistently fresh, and the staff is kind and hospitable.
The restaurant provides a zen counter sushi lunch experience amidst the chaotic lunch crowd. The eggplant and shiitake mushroom appetizer is delicious with a kick of hot sauce, and the specialty rolls are perfect—clean, delicious, and just right for lunch. While some find the maki rolls and rice bowls underwhelming, the poke bowl remains a must-try for its value and freshness.
