Bryant Park Café Reviews
Food was very good ,portions adequate and service good .
No real atmosphere and relies perhaps on free events or their music ,we visited Saturday 11th July, lunch time and was no event hence saying create some music yourself.
Staff friendly and service very good.
Prices perhaps a premium for food but quality was why .thanks
Huge respect to the gentleman who has been working there for 18 years. He and his team provided us with exceptional hospitality—they were all so warm and kind!
Excellent service! Strongly recommended.

The Bryant Park Cafe is a restaurant located near the bustling 40th street, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with a view of Bryant Park—an ideal spot for people-watching. The cafe is known for its fast and friendly service, with staff like Tiffany going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Customers feel safe and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, especially at the bar where friendly bartenders serve strong drinks and share good stories. The staff is often praised for their exceptional care, from greeting to service, making guests feel valued.
The menu features a variety of dishes, including the Jerusalem platter with delicious and filling hummus and pita, as well as a cheesy quesadilla. The pork sliders have a sweet-smelling sauce that makes them moist and flavorful. The vegetable garden salad is fresh and crisp, with radicchio lettuce providing a light flavor. Some customers enjoy the large portions of grilled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, though a few have experienced service issues, such as a distracted waitress or a kitchen mistake with shrimp tacos. Despite occasional hiccups, many find the food good and the overall experience enjoyable.
However, some may find the prices to be on the higher side, such as the $16 "dinner" salad and $19 for two pork sliders, which they feel is paying for the location. Additionally, the use of plastic cups for water, without asking for consent, has been a point of contention for environmentally-conscious customers. Overall, the Bryant Park Cafe offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and attentive service, though the cost and environmental concerns may be drawbacks for some.
