“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “The rum infused espresso is to die for… Even as a coffee enthusiast this is not something I’d seen before but it definitely made for a cool experience and made it feel like more than just your typical cafe.

Never been to a coffee shop where the staff are so friendly, genuinely left a bit shocked after having been asked to have our photo taken for the instagram!

Both were great. Cold latte packed a punch in its flavor that was detectable even through the milk, and Americano had great fragrance that slowly showed its flavor as I quickly sip down the burning liquid.“

“This is a really sweet cafe in Harlem! I was visiting from Oregon when someone suggested I stop by, and I'm sincerely glad I did. “Always stop in here when I'm in NY. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Coffee is always good. There's always someone who gets the Pistachio milk and loves it. This last time tried the hot chocolate but was not my favorite. I prefer the more european style drinking chocolate. However, any and all the coffee drinks have never disappointed. “Great coffee and food, but a weird place to spend any amount of time to do work or meet a friend - I was there on a Monday afternoon and maybe that's not the best time, as there was literal construction going on, and they left a door open for like 25 minutes while deliveries were coming in, so it got very cold.“

“Our club placed a large coffee order in advance and the manager Ray could not have been more accommodating. The order was ready right on time with a very generous amount of condiments: regular and fat free milk and supplies: cups, stirrers, sugar, sweeteners and napkins. I made a second visit to confirm the order and Ray greeted me by name after having only met me once. I was extremely impressed with the outstanding customer service. Although I am not a coffee drinker myself, the coffee also got rave reviews. The prices are also very reasonable and fair.“

“Had an absolutely BRILLIANT Cortado here this afternoon. I don't order them to test a barista, but honestly, it is the rolled French omlette of milk-based drinks. Just the way I like it, with some (perfectly) microfoamed milk sitting on top of the shot. Adorned with a lovely little heart, sure, but this wasn't latté art for art's sake. The shot itself was expertly pulled, and the whole experience was 100%. My companions’ drip-brewed cup and flat white were also good. Or rather, I tried it, and bam, the flat white spot on. Milk had been expertly steamed so it was sweet, and married perfectly to the shot itself.

Been coming to this neighborhood for about 15 years and man alive, great to have something of this quality.“

“If i could give this place 6 stars I would. The coffee is wonderful, as are their non-coffee drinks (matcha, pandan lattes). There's wifi and clean toilets at this location.

The best part of this shop is by far the staff. They often give me free stamps on my stamp card, let me use my own takeout mug and (the rare time I've brought my dog) given treats to my dog.

“Stumptown in the Village is easily one of the best coffee spots in the city, and a huge part of that is Lauren, the manager. It’s a busy location and she truly never stops moving. You’ll see her handling a dozen things at once, but it never takes away from the care she gives customers. She somehow manages to run the shop flawlessly and still make time to greet people, solve problems, or just make someone’s day.

The whole team is awesome. It makes a huge difference at these types of spots to have great staff. But I still can’t say enough about how great Lauren makes this place. It’s a completely different vibe when she’s not here. Never bad, but just not quite as special.“

“This Joe Coffee was tucked around near Track 11 / Greybar passage, so the best part avoids the big lines and rush in any other coffee shop. My large latte, 12 oz (which I'm glad the barista showed me for no surprises), was $6, which I'll usually make an exception for when time is precious and taste was good. Enjoy!“

“When you travel to NYC, particularly Manhattan, either on business or as a tourist, you don't think of eating healthy. However, there are now several Whole Foods in Manhattan. They offer what other Whole foods across the country offer, a wide variety of healthy (as well as not-so-healthy) foods. Since this grocery store is in NYC, they have thrown in a NYC touch: the check-out line for self-checkout is really complicated. You wait in a long line and look for the color code of the line in which you are standing......... it takes a while to get used to it, but it is no doubt intended to deal with the store's being packed during certain hours of the day. Prices are relatively high, but this is NYC so that is to be expected.“

They have three floors, and a public bathroom which always has a long line like a discotheque, but you can use it if you're in the Union square vicinity without any hassle.“
