“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely cared for. This was my first time visiting, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but what truly stood out was the level of attention and thoughtfulness we received. Being noticed and having the spelling of my name acknowledged made me feel seen and valued as a guest.

Ariana deserves special recognition—she went above and beyond by customizing both coquito lattes to accommodate my sister’s and my health issues, *without sacrificing flavor at all*. They were hands-down some of the best drinks we’ve had. Her knowledge, care, and exceptional customer service made this experience unforgettable. If anyone deserves a promotion, it’s Ariana!

“The rum infused espresso is to die for… Even as a coffee enthusiast this is not something I’d seen before but it definitely made for a cool experience and made it feel like more than just your typical cafe.

Never been to a coffee shop where the staff are so friendly, genuinely left a bit shocked after having been asked to have our photo taken for the instagram!

“My husband and I attended the Roastery & Tasting Experience, and it was truly beyond our expectations. As devoted Starbucks customers, we had no idea these roasteries even existed, and the NYC location is absolutely magnificent—beautifully designed and filled with incredible sights, aromas, and flavors. We began with Alice, our guide, who was spectacular. She led us through the space with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing fascinating details and stories we had never heard and shepherding us seamlessly through the entire experience. She was terrific. Next, we met Mark, the roaster, who walked us through the roasting process and the origins of Starbucks beans with remarkable clarity and depth. His ability to explain complex ideas in such accessible language was impressive—and yes, he was terrific as well. We ended with a coffee tasting led by Shawn, who was funny, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to engage the group, and we found ourselves laughing while truly savoring the experience. Not only did we have a wonderful time, we learned so much and left feeling even more connected to the Starbucks brand after seeing its values in action. This experience was well beyond our expectations and absolutely worth every penny.“

“My favorite cafe in Manhattan! They have multiple locations but this is by far the best. Their banana bread is absolutely delicious and their coffee is unbeatable. I came in feeling down but their employees are so kind and welcoming, it lifted my mood instantly. Could not recommend it enough!“

Not only is the coffee GOOD, but the staff are the NICEST, warmest people behind the counter. This attentive and welcoming vibe makes all the difference, unlike some coffee shops in the neighborhood. “If i could give this place 6 stars I would. The coffee is wonderful, as are their non-coffee drinks (matcha, pandan lattes). There's wifi and clean toilets at this location.

The best part of this shop is by far the staff. They often give me free stamps on my stamp card, let me use my own takeout mug and (the rare time I've brought my dog) given treats to my dog.

I ordered a cappuccino ☕️ it is smooth and not too intense. the vibe is immaculate as I sat at a small table by the window. It wasn’t too crowded.

“Stumptown in the Village is easily one of the best coffee spots in the city, and a huge part of that is Lauren, the manager. It’s a busy location and she truly never stops moving. You’ll see her handling a dozen things at once, but it never takes away from the care she gives customers. She somehow manages to run the shop flawlessly and still make time to greet people, solve problems, or just make someone’s day.

The whole team is awesome. It makes a huge difference at these types of spots to have great staff. But I still can’t say enough about how great Lauren makes this place. It’s a completely different vibe when she’s not here. Never bad, but just not quite as special.“

“This Joe Coffee was tucked around near Track 11 / Greybar passage, so the best part avoids the big lines and rush in any other coffee shop. My large latte, 12 oz (which I'm glad the barista showed me for no surprises), was $6, which I'll usually make an exception for when time is precious and taste was good. Enjoy!“

“I had a situation where I ordered a drink and didn’t communicate properly because I was in a rush and ended up not liking it when I got to work. I went back to them and let them know about my drink mishap and they made me a new drink for free no questions asked. Exemplary customer service and a really nice staff. “When you travel to NYC, particularly Manhattan, either on business or as a tourist, you don't think of eating healthy. However, there are now several Whole Foods in Manhattan. They offer what other Whole foods across the country offer, a wide variety of healthy (as well as not-so-healthy) foods. Since this grocery store is in NYC, they have thrown in a NYC touch: the check-out line for self-checkout is really complicated. You wait in a long line and look for the color code of the line in which you are standing......... it takes a while to get used to it, but it is no doubt intended to deal with the store's being packed during certain hours of the day. Prices are relatively high, but this is NYC so that is to be expected.“

Look for the 365 label of products, they are VERY affordable,so if you're a senior like me you will be able to afford the healthy food here with this name brand. They have three floors, and a public bathroom which always has a long line like a discotheque, but you can use it if you're in the Union square vicinity without any hassle.“
