“OMG! I am not exaggerating when I say the cake I received was not short of amazing. Chocolate Devil's Food with Raspberry buttercream. Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. Everyone who ate a piece of my birthday cake could not be more satisfied with the level of artistry in the decoration as well as the execution of the taste of the cake itself. I don't think I can go back to buying store bought cakes. They would just fail in comparison!“

“Maria makes the best carrot cake, red velvet, trees leches, plain and almond croissants I’ve ever tasted. Her passion for pastry is simply unbeatable. This isn’t because I provide her with same day delivery service, but I’m speaking as her customer as well. Her pastries are crafted with arts and the taste speaks for itself. I’m very familiar with French pastries for far too many years, so mark my words, if you’re looking for authentic French pastries, Les Gateaux De Marie is the place to go.“

“It’s Carvel - been eating their soft serve since I was a kid. It’s always on point. This Carvel is clean and the staff is super nice (been there twice this week, don’t judge). The lack of the 5th star is there is only outdoor seating and because of location, someone is always sitting there,“

“I’d long oogled over Lucie’s Instagram account and finally I got to visit the bakery irl earlier this week and it didn’t disappoint. A cozy and charming spot with ofcourse beautiful AND delicious cakes. The fromage frais icing was so light and the perfect pairing to the carrot cake. I also loved the earl grey icing on the sponge cake-so inventive and not too floral, just right. Also it’s worth noting that the bakers in the kitchen looked very happy working there which says a lot I think. Hard recommend going here for a slice of calm and something scrummy in the city. Oh and the cappuccinos are so light and frothy! Can’t stop raving x“

“I was a bride from a distance and used this bakery for my wedding day, and I’m so glad I did! Their cupcakes were absolutely decadent—so delicious you truly couldn’t stop eating them. The frosting was light and not overly heavy, and the cake itself was hands-down the best. Everything tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly made. I would recommend them to anyone looking for wedding desserts or cupcakes that wow your guests!“

“Red Gate Bakery is an experience that brings me back to loving life when it gets me down, when a hangover breaks me and/or when i want to experience heaven on earth. These unique concoctions are a once in a lifetime experience, unless you visit them weekly, which is recommended. While other bakeries get a lot of fame, these desserts are perfectly balanced so that you can eat them without feeling over-sugared. Go here. Be happy. You're welcome.“

“Ordered the Chocolate Chip layered cake short notice for New Year's Day Brunch. Gardner was able to accommodate and the cake did not disappoint my guess. The cake was delicious, moist, and rich. If you are a Chocolate lover, this is a no brainer order!!! Will definitely order again“

“I recently went to this Subway and Carvel and had a great time. The staff were super friendly, and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The Carvel side had delicious ice cream and awesome customized cakes. The place was clean and inviting after the remodeling.“

“Amazing cake and the owner is so nice! I ordered a fresh mango cream cake and requested lemon be added to the middle. The only suggestion I have is that cream be added to the middle layer as well, which I assumed would be the case as is are most layered cream cakes.“

“This was my first time entering this place with my friends since he wanted to buy a full sized cake so I was interested in what type of cakes they were. As he ordered, I got convinced to get one and it was the chocolate cocoa crepe cake it was spectacular! It was probably because of my sweet tooth but I did rather find it delightful. The baker informed us that cutting the whole cake would be extra but we didn't mind, all the pieces were cut to precision. A slice though would come around to be $12 but it was worth it for sure!“

The house offering is CLEARLY not a traditional tres leches (and if you think it is, you have no business commenting on tres leches in the heights) - but rather an interpretation on the original...and the house TL is SO good. “Although the presentation only looks good from one angle (bald spot in the back etc. SMH) the cake taste delicious not too sweet just right the blue frosting had everyone’s lips blue tho it didn’t taste like dye the guava filling was on point we truly enjoyed it. The total for the cake was $80 and it was ready on the date and time I requested. Would recommend just don’t get any pictures on your cake they need to get their skills up. The passion fruit dessert is a go as well.“
