This is a neighborhood gem that may be overlooked. It is a find in East Harlem- fresh, well prepared food and great service in a beautiful space with lovely patio in back. We will definitely be back.
El Paso is a special place in East Harlem. Everything on the menu is excellent. The Seafood Soup has fresh shrimp, mussels, crab meat, calamari, octopus, cilantro and onions in a spicy tomato base. It's the best seafood soup in NYC. Great staff, big screen TV's for sports and the best live mariachi bands at night.

My Lady's go-to spot for Mexican fare in Harlem. She's never disappointed. I get the shrimp chimichanga which remains very good. A favorite place for hers and my finicky adult/adolescent children, too.
