Hands down the best place for my little sweet treats in the city. I try something new every time I go. Incredible food.
I had red velvet, carrot and chocolate. They were all so GOOD!

Empire Cake is a bakery in the West Village, bigger than its old Chelsea location. The selection of cakes has expanded, with mini cakes available all year around. Last minute candles and cards are also available. Cupcakes were ordered for a wedding and were absolutely delicious, with Brooklyn Blackout a personal favorite. Empire was responsive and friendly while coordinating delivery. Empire Cake has the best cake on the planet, called snack cake. The Brooklyn blackout snack cakes are a must, and the oat cappuccinos should not be missed. An xl Brooklyn blackout cake for a birthday got everyone asking where it was from, so moist and delicious. The banana foster cupcake is absolutely delicious, with moist cake and buttercream/filling that is not super sweet. The elevated Yodel was every wonderful thing about eating yodels in the 80’s, only far more elevated and delicious. An assortment of cookies nailed it, classic deserts way better than most people make them.
