I was working nearby for the week after about a month of IG plaguing my feed with Gelottiâ??s beautiful spectrum of ice cream treats. How exciting to finish off a hot AF Tuesday with Gelotti? My aunt met me from across town and we entered the neon pink haven of sweetness. Ignore the second review. The guy clearly doesn't know that this location is only doing a soft opening right now. I do still give it only three stars because as someone who loves the Paterson location, this one won't cut it. Not because it's small and doesn't have as many flavors, it's in the city so I wasn't expecting a big shop with the full range of flavors, but because of the price. What works in Paterson clearly will not cut it in NYC: + Half the flavors are missing from the bins + Half the flavors that are there aren't labeled + They were out of half of the different bowls for serving + No hours posted + Interior design is a hodge podge of garbage; the entire back area is spilling into the lobby and there is some weird storage room with the door left open for everyone to see + The security gate on the street was left 25% closed.
