“This restaurant was excellent! It’s similar to Chipotle in the sense that you can build your own bowl, but with Indian dishes instead.

I ordered the mixed greens with chicken tikka masala and basmati rice, and everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The service was quick and efficient, and the food came out hot and delicious. I also tried the samosas, which were amazing.

Overall, everything tasted fresh and well-made. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“

“I tried the tuna ceviche today via delivery. It was very good. The fish was truly the best part. The other flavors and textures were new to me, but I very much enjoyed them. I will order again for a lunch treat. Also the ceviche was super affordable, under $20 even after delivery fees and a filling portion size.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“A wide selection of Asai (and other based) bowls. Endless combinations of fruit with added garnishments. Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

“I came here on a Saturday morning and it wasn't super busy. I was able to get a quick latte. I tried this nut honey latte and it was delicious. I love that they have non-dairy milk options. My friend got a soup and liked it. This is a good spot for grabbing coffee!“

“New York City, Union Square Baya Bar is awesome, aesthetically pleasing and super friendly. Though this location is small it is warm and inviting. The staff know their regulars and welcome them with enthusiasm.

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

“My colleagues and I are obsessed with the Cilantro Lime Chicken bowl! We order it multiple times a week and are always satisfied! All the servers always greet us with smiles and know us by first names. Cris, who works at the register is great. She told us about the Just Salad app and all the reward perks we get with every purchase. The food is fresh and delicious. Great job, all!“

“I usually go for the smoothies and health shots (which are A1!! - the freshest and healthiest smoothies I’ve ever had). “Playa Bowl is my favorite meal in the world. I always get the power açai and I substitute it with plant protein. The staff at every location are always awesome. Smoothies, oatmeal, açai, pitaya & coffee. Started in New Jersey in 2014 and is sweeping the nation.“

“Always walk by and finally decided to try. They have a variety of bowls and bases. Outdoor seating and beachy indoor vibes.

I got the coco craze bowl. Coconut base, flax seed granola, coconut flakes, mango, banana, and pineapple. Regular size bowl. I downloaded the app and got 15% off as a first time order, so paid just over $15 with tax and a convenience fee of 50 cents.

Overall it was a great bowl, large enough that it lasted most of my work day. Only con is the coconut base melted pretty fast after I picked it up from the store, so it quickly became a juice with fruits.

“Love it! Gets super busy but the staff is extremely efficient and kind throughout which is impressive in itself. The kitchen is open so you can see the entire assembly line which is kind of fun. You see the whole process which makes it feel like you’re not really waiting that long at all. Didn’t get a photo of my drink but their sodas are really delicious and not too sweet. Feels super healthy which not sure if it is but who cares- it’s delectable. This whole bowl is amazing and balances out so well. The salmon tastes fresh and it’s a good portion that kept me full. Love all the sauces, toppings, textures, and flavor profiles. I love this bowl I got too much to change my order. Hard to find a place to sit but just take it to go!“

“I was in NY for my wife's 50th and I got food poisoning,we went to Harlem and one of tge street vendors recommended Watkins. Man these guys are the Real Deal they recommended the charcoal powder and man it got my stomach right in less 15 mins. Wish I would have found them on day one of our trip.“

One thing I noticed is that most of the owner / manager at Baya Bar, most not all, are pretty nice, and this one at UES is def one of them. Super friendly to customers and even window cleaning staff. The lady behind the counter didn't really say much but took our order and got it out quickly. (It is on a lower level floor, we had to ask for directions because we came in through the ground level)“

“I thoroughly enjoy shopping at this store. However, several months ago I purchased a jar of pomegrante juice by RW Knudsen that was obviously mislabeled by the company (not by the store.) I believe the label said 100% juice. When I drank it, the taste was APPLE JUICE (mentioned as the main ingredient in small print) , which is the cheapest ingredient with which to dilute. The store graciously exchanged it for me, but the company did NOTHING, meaning they never answered my question regarding percentage of apple juice used. Shame on RW KNUDSEN for mislabeling and not responding to my concern.“
