Irving Farm Coffee is a small, cozy, and warm spot that feels like a little underground cafe tucked away from busy streets. The vibe is beautiful and relaxed, with a genuine and comfortable energy. The people working there are humble, welcoming, and easygoing. The House Blend (Medium Roast) earns "excellent"—it shows restraint and precision, with a clean, slightly sweet aroma of toasted nuts, milk chocolate, and dried fruit. The first sip reveals a rounded chocolate base with subtle caramel and a gentle citrus lift, with a silky, medium body and bright but controlled acidity. This blend is incredibly forgiving and consistent across drip and pour-over methods, with a clean, lingering cocoa finish and no bitterness. Consistently good coffee and efficient service are offered. Plenty of seating is available, though it can fill up quickly. Food like the egg sandwich and banana bread is decent, but the plain bagel is not exceptional. Prices are high (for example, a $3 surcharge for a half-caf espresso drink).
