About Kiki's

Kiki's is a beloved Greek restaurant in the city, known for its generous portions and reasonable prices. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including saganaki, lamb chops, beet salad, spanakopita, and pastitchio. The cheesecake remains a standout dessert, and the ambiance is ideal for family-style dining. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the restaurant's cleanliness and family-friendly atmosphere.

However, some challenges have been noted, such as the need for all members of a group to be present before being seated and the lack of reservations. High temperatures inside, particularly during summer nights, can also detract from the dining experience. Despite these issues, the food is generally well-priced and consistently tasty, making Kiki's a place worth visiting, especially for brunch. The restaurant also features a great view of the WTC for those who choose to sit outside, and it has spacious indoor seating.

Customers have recently praised the yigantes (baked giant beans in tomato sauce) and the spanakorizo (spinach & rice dish in tomato sauce) as the best dishes. The calamari and the traditional Greek salad (horiatiki) were also well-received. While the lamb chops were found to lack flavor, the Mixed Grill Platter and the Fresh Whole Fish (Branzino) were standout dishes. The baklava was also highly recommended as the best in Manhattan.

Good food, nice vibe indoors plus outdoor street seating

Got seated pretty quickly on a Thursday afternoon. Server was really nice and the food came out in a timely manner. I think it’s good but a bit over hyped . The octopus was tender Wish it had a bit more flavor. The chicken and potatoes were yummy, but the potatoes were different textures and they didn’t give enough of the sauce. The Bronzino fish was grilled really nicely, but not a fan of the Spanish rice.

Consistently good, nice ambience, and very reasonable. My pick for a last minute dinner
