Located in NYC, L’Appartement 4F offers pastries that compare to what you can get in France. The sourdough is the best, bought weekly, and the croissants, baguettes, and chocolate chip cookies are incredible. The Pain au Chocolat is absolutely divine, and the ham and cheese croissant is unreal. The Pistachio Rose Croissant can be a favorite, though it can hit you too sweet sometimes, rewarding the company of a strong black coffee. The croissants are super cute, but some find them too greasy/buttery. The hot cocoa with oat milk is yummy. The line can move slowly, with a 30-minute wait, but it is worth it. The staff is great.
