Hands down the best modern Vietnamese bakery in NYC! 🇻🇳❤ They’re almost too pretty to eat but somehow taste even better. The cakes and pastries have such an authentic taste and flavor, truly unlike any cake you’ve had before. Everything is light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. I rarely like cakes, but this shop has DELICIOUS ONES! I love the one with pork floss, and the coconut with pandan cake. Customer service was decent. There was not a lot of space so I will recommend buying for togo. Although I put them in the fridge, they are so so soft and not too sweet. Highly recommended!!
A good Asian bakery with very interesting flavor and ingredients like Lychee, Jasmin, pork floss. The garlic cream cheese bun is good. The lychee Jasmin cake is a bit pricy $16, interesting subtle flavor, but it is not very wowing. I would try more their puff/ buns.

LÀ LÁ Bakeshop NYC is a great Asian bakery. The staff are friendly. The durian cake has pandan with real chunks of durian and is NOT TOO SWEET. The coconut pandan mini cake, tiramisu, coconut pandan sticky rice, and seasonal tangerine jasmine tea are all good. For savory pastries, the garlic cream bun and the sausage scallion bun are both so good and massive. The salted egg croissant is rich and perfectly balanced with sweet and savory flavor, a must-try. Some salted egg yolk pastries can be a bit too egg-y, and the salted egg filling in the croissant and salted egg lava bun could be more flavorful. The crème brûlée lava bun was not really a cup of tea. For price, it is a great place to try Asian flavored desserts.
