About Le Pain Quotidien

Le Pain Quotidien offers a mixed dining experience. The food is hit-or-miss, with some dishes, like eggs with goat cheese, being a highlight, while others, like croissants, falling short. However, the freshly baked bread and strong lattes are a consistent delight. The bakery features a bright atmosphere with a good selection of sweet and savory pastries, bread, and sandwiches. The space is set up with tables where customers can sit alone, with others, or comfortably work at a long table. Some reviews mention that the staff are very friendly and smile faces, providing excellent, kind, and professional service. The ambiance is nice, with a nice crowd and a view of the Chrysler when sitting outside. Customers have enjoyed the fresh salads and delicious ham and cheese sandwiches. The Strawberry Matcha Cookie and the oatmeal bowl have also received positive feedback. However, some customers have noted that the service is not always client-centric, and the coffee cups being bowls can be inconvenient. Overall, it remains a popular spot for fresh baked goods and a pleasant setting.

I love this location of Le Pain Quotidien. Their vegan options are always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciate.

The service was also excellent, Axel, our server, was especially kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

On top of that, this is definitely one of the most beautiful Le Pain locations in the city. It’s spacious, and even when it gets busy, it still feels comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend!
I used to come to this place when I was in New York. I asked for sit-down service, but he served me French cream in a box and coffee in a paper cup. I told him I wanted the coffee in a bowl! I would give a zero to service if I could!
Great food, service is a bit to slow. But overall great experience
