About Liberty Bistro

Liberty Bistro is a local restaurant that offers a diverse dining experience. The service is generally excellent, with attentive and helpful staff. The food is well-received, with highlights including the crab cakes and cocktail presentations, though the quality can be inconsistent. The bistro's ambiance and decor are praised, creating a charming atmosphere, especially for outdoor seating. The restaurant overlooks the Hudson River, providing scenic views.

Customers frequently recommend the cod sandwich with fries and the Liberty Charcoal Grilled Burger. The desserts alone make this place worth visiting, with the crème brûlée described as a "flavor blast in every bite." The ratatouille is perfect, served in a crock and wonderfully hearty, while the NY strip is "by far the best steak we ever had," incredibly tender and seasoned to perfection.

While the overall experience can be hit or miss, many customers are willing to return, drawn by the restaurant's potential for a memorable visit. The location along the water is perfect, especially for a summer evening or after-work gathering, with a clean, quiet, and nice ambiance.

For drinks, I had an Aperol Spritz that was refreshing and well-balanced.
