Extremely inviting and cool place to have a drink, food, and pizza in the heart of NYC. We had the Local 42 Draft beer for $4.00 which you can't beat the taste or the price. Topped it off with Jerk Wings and Pizza which were amazing. There really is no better place for that combination in town. There's a ton of drink options, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Based on the reviews, Local 42 Bar is a great neighborhood joint in Hell’s Kitchen that draws both tourists and locals. The staff is great and the friendliest owner is very gracious and welcoming. They have decent prices on booze, cheap drinks, and a wicked whiskey list with an incredibly well priced selection of whiskey and bourbons. The food is better than it should be; the burger looked solid, and everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. They put the Timberwolves game on the tv. The bar is clean and welcoming with fantastic service. The pricing is super affordable and great value. It is one of the best bars in Hell’s Kitchen and a top notch place.
