I live next door to their Broadway location on the Upper West Side in New York City and have made multiple attempts to support this business. Unfortunately, after three visits, my experiences have been consistently disappointing.
Each time, I encountered staff who came across as sarcastic and unprofessional, and my drink orders were not prepared correctly—despite providing clear instructions through the app.

Luckin Coffee is a Chinese coffee chain with insanely cheap drinks. The app and ordering takes literally 45 seconds, and the coffee comes in another minute. They cut the cashier and put all their employees on making drinks, so that is a plus. The price of 1.99 cant be beat; it is decent cheap coffee in a world other chains want $5-$6. The baristas work fast while the quality of roasted coffee remains very good, and their smiles shined. The atmosphere is very chill and feels like home. Of all the local independent coffee/matcha shops, this one is the best spot near the train. They have AMAZING matcha, and the ice Kyoto matcha latte is a 9/10. The iced coconut latte was good but lacked the coconut flavor. Skip their coffees, but the matchas are really good.
