Best Chicken Dumplings ever! <3
Good sushi, clean spot, friendly service.. Some ummm interesting special rolls. Though very varied with some good vegetarian options, I'd probably select rolls separately next time instead of going with Platter C
Delicious food. A lot of variety. Friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. Love it!

Makana offers a memorable taste experience with a strong embrace of local culture. The workers are exceptionally accommodating and display uncommon kindness, often remembering preferences. The establishment is a welcome discovery for newcomers, and family visits aren't complete without this spot. Portions make sharing a smart option for two people.
The food quality is difficult to describe with words. Specific meals like the Kalua Pig Buns are delicious, and the poke bowls, though a little pricey, are very good with fresh tuna and flavorful grab salad. The boba is very good, almost thick like a milkshake. Fish tacos are super fried and crunchy, though the tortilla could be better. Hawaiian fried rice is good with a great level of heat. Spam musubi is super good, with salty spam working well with rice and seaweed. Coconut rice is mildly sweet and tastes of coconut.
However, some reviews note the quality has gone down recently, and orders are often wrong. The chicken katsu was paper thin with hardly anything to chew on, leading to disappointment. While mostly every sushi is very good, other food options are not very good.
