Mama's Cupboard Reviews
10/10 vibes. Perry the bartender was fantastic, really knew when to start a conversation and when to let us chat on our own. Super friendly and felt very welcomed there! The live jazz (we were there on Tuesday at 730pm) was a great lowkey atmosphere! Will come back next time for the food too :)
Cocktails and sake were tasty !
It’s easy to miss Mama’s Cupboard because of its sub-street level location. But you’ll be pleasantly surprised by its jazz bar ambiance. Thumbs up for the fried rice bowl lunch special ($14 plus tax). The crispy tofu remained crispy because it was placed on top rather than cooked with the rice. The Thai iced tea was served after the food came out, a bit odd when drinks are usually served first. Please note that the suggested tips are based on the taxed total.
First time ordering! In love, great size, warm and healthy. Chicken bowl

Mama's Cupboard is a delightful restaurant known for its cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The experience is relaxed and memorable, making it a favorite for many. The Tofu Banh Mi and Vermicelli Bowl with chicken are highly recommended, with the pork Banh Mi also being a popular choice for take-out. Vegetarian options like the krispy tofu banh mi are a must-try. Fresh spring rolls and kimchi stand out on the menu. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food, but diners may experience a slight wait as meals are made to order. The decor is unique, creating a warm and inviting environment, though the bathroom decor could use some attention. Overall, it's a pleasant surprise for those who venture down the stairs to this unassuming spot.
