Whenever I want a tiny, artisan hot chocolate I go here. Yes, it's $8.00 but its perfect and it's all I need. I go for the chili spiced dark chocolate. It's thick and not too sweet. It certainly takes the edge off on a chilly day. Sadly, it has ruined me for all other hot chocolate. Max Brenner makes a thick one also but it tastes synthetic. The hot chocolate at Marie Belle is the real deal.
My friends and I enjoyed an afternoon dessert hangout here! Firstly, props to MarieBelle because they were flexible with our reservation (It helped that it wasn't super busy, but since our friend was running late from NJ, we were nervous about having the reservation forfeited but they were sweet about it). What a cute, quaint cafe! I'm a sucker for afternoon teas and MarieBelle hit the spot! When you walk in you'll be in chocolate heaven as the shop has so many chocolate items in cute packaging to purchase - that alone had mouth watering lol. The actual cafe isn't big but they make it work! They have it roped off until you're able to be seated.
