I went because I was a regular customer of Me Noodle on 2nd Street. I was surprised at how different it is compared to the other one, which I think was the original, now closed. The attention bordering on antipathy, the food normal or regular, the generous portions and the normal atmosphere too. I miss the atmosphere that was in the old Me Noodle on 2nd Av.
Mee Noodle Shop is definitely one of the hearts of Hell's Kitchen. It is a small venue, but very popular with the pre-theatre crowd.There were 3 of us that stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was packed! No, I mean PACKED!We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but it soon cleared out because the pre-theatre folks had a curtain. Stopped here for a meal prior to a Broadway show.Food was very good and servers were professional and polite.I will stop back again when in the neighborhood.I think the interior was undergoing renovations during our visit. If not, they need to clean it up a bit!
