Fantastic breakfast! Perfect way to start my birthday!
This is one of the typical American cafés. With tables and benches all close to each other, it has an American food menu. The service was good.
I spent a few hours at the Met - close to the restaurant and came here for a late lunch. I had the hamburger and fries, sold separately. The hamburger was basic but I was hungry and did it justice. The service was pleasant.

The bacon and french toast were very good too. My son loved his chocolate milk. The food is standard diner fare, nothing amazing, but the servings were plenty. Despite its unassuming diner-style atmosphere, the food is praised as delicious, making it a good spot for a quick meal after exploring the museum or walking around Manhattan. The diner can be busy and crowded, especially on rainy days, but it remains a dependable place for both tourists and locals. Some customers note that prices are high, typical of Manhattan, and that there may be issues with charging for extras like fries, but overall, it’s recognized for having a good little operation going on. The owners took pride in the place, everything was clean. The staff all took ownership for orders and comfort; if a questioning look was thrown into the ether, anyone from the team that saw it came to aid.
