“I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday, and I just want to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in my eight years of being in New York City. I'm a huge fan of this place not just because of the food, but because of the people behind the plates: the staff is incredibly attentive and kind. Special shout outs to Ronald, Anthony, Harley, and Kalvin, for going above and beyond and making this evening special and one I'll remember for a long time!“

“I went here with my cousin and we are always looking for great food, especially pasta. This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in the city. The service was impeccable and a girl was so helpful and a delight to speak with. Chefs Alessio and Claudio were fantastic, and so fun to speak with them in Italian. It made our night!
We shared the frittata napoletana and I had the lumanchine. The pasta blew me away. It was perfectly al dente and didn’t fill me up. For dessert we had the pastamisu. It was delicious, not too sweet and just the right note to end our meal.
We can’t wait to go back and try some more pasta!“

“Much more down to earth pizza spot than the “pizza parlor” or whatever it was before. Ordered two slices at previous spot and after I paid, I was told I couldn’t eat it there. This spot is great, just a solid pizza place with lots of options. $6.99 for two slices and a drink. It does the trick!“

Kid-friendliness: It's not a swarmed adult like environment. So I guess of course you can bring your kids. Who doesn't like ? ?“

“Pranzo Pizza and Pasta: A Welcoming Respite Near Battery Park.
After a grueling two-hour experience climbing the Statue of Liberty's stairs, my family desperately needed good food and a comfortable place to rest. Pranzo Pizza and Pasta's impressive Google Maps ratings caught our attention, and we decided to give it a try. That decision proved to be exactly what we needed.
The moment we walked in, the friendly team welcomed us warmly, immediately setting a positive tone for our visit. The restaurant's table arrangement and overall atmosphere revealed something special, this wasn't just another tourist trap near a major attraction. Instead, it felt like a genuine local community gathering spot, the kind of neighborhood eatery where regulars know the staff by name.
The homely vibe extended beyond the décor into every aspect of the experience. There's something comforting about finding an authentic, unpretentious restaurant in an area typically dominated by overpriced, mediocre tourist establishments.
We ordered the meatball hero, a slice of pizza, and a pasta dish, a solid sampling of their Italian-American offerings. Each dish delivered exceptional flavor and quality, but what truly tied everything together was their homemade marinara sauce. You can immediately taste the difference between mass-produced sauce and something crafted with care and traditional recipes. The marinara had depth, richness, and that indefinable quality that only comes from food made with genuine attention and soul.
The meatball hero was hearty and satisfying, the pizza slice had perfectly balanced toppings and crust, and the pasta demonstrated proper cooking technique, not overcooked or swimming in excess sauce.
For anyone visiting Battery Park or the Statue of Liberty, Pranzo Pizza and Pasta offers exactly what tired tourists need: authentic food, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a temporary home away from the crowds.“

“I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Il Pastaio, located inside Eataly NYC. The restaurant has a great concept—seating is at the bar, where you can watch the chefs prepare fresh pasta right in front of you. It was genuinely enjoyable to see the pasta-making process while waiting for our meal. Both the salad and the pasta were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. I’d definitely consider coming back the next time I’m in New York City. Highly recommended!“

“Now this is Harlem pizza I can get behind. Beautiful quality cheese, sauce, & crust make a highly satisfying regular slice, w/ a sausage slice for good measure & additional flavor. I wouldn't doubt if Trufa was about as well esteemed as Patsy's! I must admit that I'd walked past this place several times before noticing it.“
“Been staying at the Westin Grand Central for work on and off for 12 of the last 21 days so I've spent a ton of time in the restaurant - and the staff is wonderful, efficient, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast varies between a buffet and à la carte, and I've been here for afternoon lunch and tea meetings. Always a super convenient and welcoming spot. Neville and Merlinde are wonderful hosts, and Sandra and Attivia are attentive and thoughtful servers. They even remembered my birthday and surprised me!“

“Absolutely spectacular! We came here twice on our first trip to NYC because it was just perfection, possibly our favorite food in the city, and we went to to several places. We paid complements to the cook who makes your dish fresh and with prime ingredients.“
