“Best Bolognese sauce and fresh homemade pasta“

“The carbonara was delicious, fresh, and had a spectacular sauce. The portion was generous, and I was so hungry that I didn’t even think about taking a picture when it arrived.
I would definitely go back, but only for takeout. The service was poor and the place was freezing, so we had to eat with our jackets on. 😪“

“Is very hard to find a good quality and real pasta in NYC. Pasta cacio Peppe and puttanesca were very good and soooo delicious. Everything was very fresh. I highly recommend their own basket of bread.First time in my life I was eating something delicious like this bread. Panna cotta and Tiramisu also was so delicious. “Wonderful dinner from start to finish. We had the pleasure of being served by Ramos, who was attentive, affable, and awesome. We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s - steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.“

“Ordered two pizzas. Pizza crusts were spot on and tasty...overall some good pizzas. The sauce though.
A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

I'm not sure I'd come back if I was in New York next. If you enjoy sweet pizza sauce you'll love this place because the crust was really good :) Just the sweetness of the sauce was not to my taste.“

“After feeling very peckish in the East Village, the aromas of basil and tomatoes filled the air, drawing me in. My taste buds were instanly delighted. Im so glad I found Gnochhi on 9th! Everything looks delicious and I recommend the vodka sauce with Burratta. Check it out!“

After an 18-hour day, I stopped into Eataly and saw that they had a prix fixe menu! The two dishes were amazing but I waited about 25 minutes for my pasta. I wasn’t frustrated but a bit concerned that like, maybe the hand rolled gnocchi’s are what’s taking longer than normal. When Kat came around and asked how my dish was, I expressed that I never received it.

What could have been a frustrating night became the opposite because of Katherine, my server. She noticed the delay, checked in at the right moments, and proactively offered a complimentary glass of her favorite wine and a dessert. That simple, thoughtful move—paired with her precision, attentiveness, and genuinely hard-working attitude—turned my bad day into a great one. The wine was outstanding, the dessert was spot-on, and the pasta was worth the wait.

Oh side note as someone how goes to the dog park in Madison garden and goes to eataly a lot more than they should is this.

Reasons to visit Eataly: consistently fresh, well-executed Italian dishes; a deep, well-curated wine list; the energy of the market-style setting; and staff who know the menu and care about hospitality. Katherine exemplifies that standard. Best customer service I’ve experienced at Eataly—detail-oriented, friendly, fast on recovery, and sincerely invested in her guests.

But hey, it’s Italian food right? It’s impossible not to like.
