Great place I’m happy they’re back open
Went on a Saturday night. I was first disappointed by the two different cover charges, $10 for the first floor and $20 for the second.
The girl at the front made a gesture of unzipping to me, I didn’t respond at first (because, use your words) then I finally undid my coat, thinking that because there was a sign about proper attire that she was just checking to see what I was wearing. Pianos, a restaurant and bar, offers a cozy and modern venue with a lively atmosphere. Pianos isn’t the trendiest spot anymore, but it’s perfect for dancing with friends, especially upstairs where the DJ plays Afrobeats, hip-hop, and crowd favorites like Bad Bunny. The dive bar energy is rough around the edges, but it’s exactly the kind of place where you can lose yourself in the music. The music can be loud, making conversation tough, but the fun atmosphere and good playlist keep the energy high. A great live band or a popping dance floor makes for a really fun night.
Located in a good area for bar hopping, it’s a staple for those looking to relive millennial hipster nights or enjoy a lively happy hour. The staff were very friendly and the bartenders were very attentive. Note that it may be harder for all-male groups to gain entry, as they prefer equal ratios of men and women. There is no cover charge before 11.
