With terrific lobster rolls and fries in a beautiful outdoor setting right on the water, Pier I Cafe is my favorite staycation destination. There is plenty of seating and no bad views, and the wait food after placing your order at the counter is reasonable, even at busy times.
It's a nice little guilty pleasure during lunch time. I tend to walk through the park to enjoy nice nature scenery along with the river. Pier 1 is a little treat and break to get away from work, I always get their drinks and snacks such as old bay fries with chicken tenders. The chicken tender is amazing, it hit the spot, definitely need to go back again.

Pier i Cafe is both a phenomenal spot to eat on the Upper West Side AND something fun to do!It's open from May to mid-October. But when open, it serves as an amazing spot to grab some delicious food and take in beautiful NYC days with a view of the water.They offer local beers, fresh salads, really tasty fish and chips, and so much more.The cafe is right near a pier and offers plenty of outdoor seating.
