Raenu Reviews
Normally it’s good but today was just generic saucy noodle slop. Very disappointing. I don’t want to hurt their business with low stars but please keep the standard up for the neighborhood. We like your food normally! Tonight was super blah…
Great little gem not to be missed. Very authentic flavors, nice portions and reasonable prices. Loved the tom yum soup, massaman curry and pad thai.
Wonderful meal at this tiny gem! Great service from the Raenu team. Talapia pad ped and fried bananas were my favorites!

Raenu, a cozy restaurant with a plant-filled interior, is located on Amsterdam Ave between 102nd and 103rd street. It offers a mix of delectable dishes and has gained a reputation for outstanding food at affordable prices. The pad Thai with mixed vegetables and chicken dumplings receives praise, though the green salad with too much peanut sauce is less impressive. The pad Thai quality can be inconsistent, but the curry puffs and rangoons are consistently enjoyed. The green curry has some kick to it, and the Pangnag dish with shrimp is noted for being fresh, juicy, and delicious, paired wonderfully with sticky rice and spring rolls. The prices are considered good for the quality of food, and the restaurant provides vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options. While the place is tiny with only a few tables, the attentive service and cozy atmosphere make it worth a visit, especially for those looking for great lunch value.
